True Signal Consulting (CVR 44630672), Copenhagen, Denmark, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach me at hi@truesignal.dk.

What is collected

This site collects nothing directly. There is no contact form and no sign-up. Netlify, which hosts the site, records standard server logs including IP addresses.

Email. If you write to hi@truesignal.dk, your message and address are held in my mailbox, which runs on Microsoft 365.

Meeting bookings. The booking link goes to Microsoft Bookings. The name, email address and any notes you enter there are collected by Microsoft on my behalf so I can hold the meeting.

Analytics. This site loads Google Analytics only if an analytics ID is configured. If one is, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location.

Why it is collected

Your contact details are used to answer your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to administer that engagement. The legal basis is legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and performance of a contract once one exists. Analytics data, where collected, is used to understand which pages are useful.

Your details are not sold, and they are not used for marketing you did not ask for.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records connected to an actual engagement are kept for as long as Danish bookkeeping law requires, currently five years from the end of the financial year.

Who else sees it

• Netlify — website hosting and server logs.
• Microsoft — email, and meeting bookings made through the booking link.
• Google — if analytics is active.

Each of these processes data on servers that may sit outside the EU/EEA, under the standard contractual clauses or an equivalent transfer mechanism.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how it is processed, or ask for processing to be restricted. Email hi@truesignal.dk and I will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency, at datatilsynet.dk.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Cookies appear only if Google Analytics is active, or if you sign in to the internal area, where a session cookie is required for authentication.
